Dino Melaye, has sparked waves of reactions after he berated the economic policies of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

The former senator took to his Twitter account on Friday to lament about the state of the Naira saying that Nigerians are in problem with the government of President Buhari.

He wrote: “Oh our Naira is anemic and loosing blood on daily basis. Govt is yet to take decisive steps to ameliorate the situation. Who send us enter this kasala…..Kill fear Nigerians and speak up. All die na die. SDM.”

The statement of the former senator has since sparked reactions on social media as many social media users reminded him that the youths have once spoken with the just concluded #EndSARS protest and some reminded the senator that he was once part of the system and doesn’t have any right to condemn the present administration.

For the better part of that struggle, which was later disrupted by the agents of govt in the most inhuman, barbaric and evil manner, you were silent. Only few of the elites spoke/stood for us.”
