Nigerians Mourn As Olu Of Warri Dies

Nigerians were on Tuesday morning mourning the death of the Olu of Warri,  Ogiame Ikenwoli, who died days after marking his fifth anniversary on the throne. He was aged 65.

According to media reports, the monarch died allegedly of COVID-19.

GWG writes that Ogiame Ikenwoli, ascended the royal stool of Warri Kingdom on 12th December 12, 2015.

His death has sparked reactions on social media as many netizens were surprised by his passing and some were disputing that he died of Covid-19. GWG brings some of their reactions below:
