Aisha Did Not Abandon Buhari For Dubai – Aide

Aisha Buhari has denied fleeing the Presidential Villa and Nigeria on account of insecurity saying that she relocated to Dubai for medial treatment.

Her assertion came in the wings of reports by online medium, Saharareporters that the First Lady fled Nigeria because of security concerns in the Presidential Villa.

The First Lady has reportedly been out of the country since after the wedding of her daughter, Hanan about three months ago.

“The First Lady travelled for her medical trip, she did not flee the country because of insecurity,” her aide, Kabiru Dodo said while representing her at a function in Jalingo, Taraba State.

“She left her children, her husband and family in Nigeria.

“What people are saying is baseless and worth nothing to be considered.

“I want to tell the whole world that I do speak to her on daily basis and she is ready to return to the country as soon as she is done with the medical treatment abroad,” Dodo said.
