Uzodinma: Okorocha Is An Internally Displaced Politician
Rochas Okorocha is an internally displaced politician determined to destroy the All Progressives Congress, APC in Imo State before defecting to another party, Hope Uzodinma said on Friday.
Governor Uzodinma’s depiction of his predecessor as an Internally Displaced Politician follows Okorocha’s mockery of Governor Uzodinma the day before.
Okorocha had mocked Uzodinma that he was unable to draw the majority of Southeast leaders of the APC to the summit of APC leaders that he hosted in Owerri on Wednesday.
But rebuffing Okorocha, Uzodinma speaking through his Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, Modestus Nwamkpa, he described the former governor as a “sinking man,” jealous that the APC was gaining strength in the Southeast under his watch.
Nwamkpa said, “Okorocha is a sinking man. He is an internally displaced politician. He is angry that under Governor Hope Uzodinma, the APC is gaining ground in the South-East, including the defection of Governor Dave Umahi to the party.
“I am aware that Okorocha wants to leave the APC, and his plan is to destroy the party before he joins another party. But we will not let him have his way.”
He thus asked the former governor to leave the APC quietly instead of pulling down the roof with him.
