1565 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has recorded 1565 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria for Thursday, January 7, 2021.
GWG reports that the 1565 new cases is the second highest number of daily new cases since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic and follows the peak of 1664 new cases recorded for Wednesday, January 5, 2021.
The 1565 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria brought the total number of cases recorded in the country since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic to 95,934 cases with 77,982 discharged.
The six deaths on Thursday brought the total number of deaths to 1330.
Lagos recorded 807 new cases which is the highest recorded for any state ever.
Lagos was followed by the FCT with 236 new cases and Kaduna with 79 new cases.
