Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Cross 100,000

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases crossed the 100,000 mark on Sunday after 1024 new cases of the pandemic were reported.

The 1024 new cases brought the confirmed cases in Nigeria to 100,087 with 80,030 cases discharged.

With eight deaths on Sunday, the number of deaths recorded shot up to 1,358.

The 1024 new cases were reported in 16 states and the FCT.

Lagos State with 653 cases led the pack with Plateau and Benue following with 63 and 48 cases respectively.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in its twitter handle late on Saturday reported thus:
