OAU Staff Commits Suicide, Leaves Suicide Note For Wife And Children

Fisayo Oyeniyi, a staff attached to the Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU) in Osun State has committed suicide.

Fisayo who is one of the armed guards in the institution committed suicide after sending suicidal messages to wife, children and mother. He expressed his willingness to terminate his life.

Confirming the incident, the public relation officer of OAU, Abiodun Olarewaju said Oyeniyi left his workplace after he forwarded the messages to his loved ones.

”The incident happened around noon. I saw people rushing to his apartment to get to see for themselves to be sure of what Mr. Oyeniyi has done to himself. We saw where he hung himself, dangling on the rope inside. He has been buried. This is so sad.”
