According to Alayaki, he served as the Chief negotiator with the kidnappers, and he reportedly identified the captors as Fulani herdsmen.

He shared a photo to confirm their release and in his submission, he said;

“This is not photoshop. That is how we did it last night. They have been released. We will soon call a press conference. I was the Chief negotiator to those people.”

Meanwhile, one other doctor has also been arrested. Per what we gathered, the doctor is a Dental therapist in the state hospital and he was abducted while on his way to work on Monday evening in Ijebu-Igbo, Ijebu-North Local Government Area of the state.

For the 13-year-old boy, he was released after a ransom was allegedly paid, however, at the time of writing this report, the amount could not be immediately confirmed.

The Chairman of Destiny Estate Community Development Association, Tayo Bilesanmi was the one who confirmed the release of the boy.
