BREAKING: Ayade Announces Defection To APC

Governor Ben Ayade has announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC. He made his intention at a meeting with six APC governors led by the chairman of the party’s Caretaker Committee and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG had on March 9, 2021 reported that the governor had concluded plans to leave the PDP following the revealing of his plans from within his inner circle.

The governor’s defection is expected to raise the stakes in a state that has been largely controlled by the PDP since 1999.
