The backlash against Senator Remi Tinubu over her altercation at the Lagos public hearing on Constitution Review has continued with social activist, Hajiya Aisha Yesufu lashing out and asking where “her arrogance is coming from.”

Third term senator, Remi Tinubu had at the Wednesday public hearing on Constitution Review engaged in a shouting brawl with a lady refused entry into the public hearing with the Lagos senator overheard telling the lady that she was acting as a thug.

Responding on twitter, Aisha Yesufu said:

Abuse is not gender based, it is power based. People abuse other people because they are in a more powerful position and think that they can do anything they like and go away with it.

Over the years, I have seen Remi Tinubu’s arrogance and I just wonder where it is coming from? Is it because maybe there are politicians always going to their family and maybe begging them and rolling on the floor and thinks that everybody thinks of her that way? I just don’t get it.

Remi Tinubu: What Is Fueling Her Arrogance? Aisha Yesufu

This is not the first time that her arrogance is coming out and I just wonder what is fueling it? I am glad what happened to her that people stood up to her and this is what people must begin to do. All for one, one for all, anywhere that one is being abused we should all put our mouths and ensure that we cut the person down to peg.

I wonder where Remi Tinubu’s arrogance is coming from. Is it because politicians are always going to their house?

Remi Tinubu, Calm Down, Calm Down

Biko be calming down o! Madam! Be calming down.

That they are coming to your house and rolling on the floor and begging you and your husband and all that, don’t think everybody is in that position. You are not feeding anybody.

Keep and tear. Start behaving and start being responsible to the people that you are serving.
