Tems Nominated For 2021 BET Awards

Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems has been nominated for the 2021 BET Awards.

The organizers took to their official Twitter account to announce nominations for the 2021 awards.

The singer, together with other international artists got nominations for the Best New International Act award.

“We are thrilled to announce this year’s Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act Nominees; arloparks (UK),BramsitoB7 (France),breerunway (UK),Elaine (SA),mcdricka13 (Brazil),ronisia_mds (France) and temsbaby (Nigeria).

“Go to @BET_INTL to cast your vote,” the tweet said.

Popular Nigerian musicians, Wizkid and Burna Boy have earlier on been nominated for the 2021 Bet Awards.

Recall that Award-winning superstars, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, and Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, got a nomination each for the best “International Act” along with several other international artists.

Tems has since taken to her social media to acknowledge the BET nomination.

Fans of Tems have wished her well and are super hyped about the Forthcoming BET Awards as they hope and pray that she gets the Bet Award. They also said it would be a win not only for her but for the entire entertainment industry in Nigeria.
