Pictures and commentaries have appeared on social media on how the Special Adviser to the governor of Lagos State, on Drainage and Water Resources, Mr. Joe Igbokwe reacting in adulation to the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Africa, IPOB.

Igbokwe had following the news of the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, taken to social media to ‘praise’ God over Kanu the development. He shared pictures of himself kneeling and raising his hands in worship to God with the statement below;

“To God be the glory. May the Souls of hundreds of young men who lost their lives in the South East rest in perfect peace. Amen! An Endless Alleluia!”

“THE JUDGEMENT DAY COMETH. MAY THE SOULS OF TGE DEPARTED REST IN PERFECT PEACE.”

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Nnamdi Kanu was rearrested with the cooperation of INTERPOL on Sunday and brought to court on Tuesday and subsequently remanded in DSS custody till July 26th for a continuation of his trial.

The commendation from Igbokwe follows his equal denunciation of the activities of Senator Enyinninya Abaribe who he recently denounced for wearing a shirt to show solidarity with the Igbo after President Muhammadu Buhari said the race was just a dot in a circle.

Igbokwe has also been flayed for aligning himself more with the political interests of his political leaders in Lagos than the aspirations of his people in the Southeast.

His post was attacked in various areas of social media with some asserting that he had sold himself to the oppressors of his people.
