Delta APC Flays Lies From Pit Of Hell By Keyamo’s Group

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta State has rebuffed the allegation of the hijack of materials meant for the forthcoming ward congresses in the state saying the assertion by the Festus Keyamo led “College of Leaders” was a lie from the pit of hell.

Asserting that the Keyamo led group was working at cross purposes with the genuine aspiration of party members, the APC publicity secretary, Sylvester Imoninia said the supposedly hijacked materials were in safe custody in the state secretariat, Asaba.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the Keyamo led tendency in the Delta State chapter of the APC, comprising of some other leaders including Chief Great Ogboru, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Dr Mrs Mariam Ali among others had in a statement alleged that the materials meant for the congress had been hijacked towards manipulating the congresses to satisfy the interests of a particular leader.

They had as such pledged that they would not be house-helps of the supposed leader which was generally inferred to be the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

Responding to the allegation, Imoninia said:

“The true position of the matter is that the said congresses forms are in the safe custody of the State Chairman and this fact was stated clearly at the meeting of APC Leaders, Isoko South LGA held yesterday, the 21st of July, 2021, where the State Chairman, Prophet Jones Ode Erue was confronted with numerous allegations of hijacking and distribution of Delta APC  Congress’ forms by The Hon. Minister of State, Labour and Employments, Chief Festus Keyamo. The State Chairman, without mincing words, chastised those who were peddling such dangerous rumours and asked them to refrain from such.

“It is therefore preposterous and unimaginable that the Hon. Minister of State for Labour and Employments, Chief Festus Keyamo in conjunction with some “Leaders” who are always crying wolf where none exist and without making any enquiry from the State Chairman, took to the press/social media that the forms have been hijacked by one “Nick” at the behest of the State Chairman and a Leader from the State. The said unfounded rumour, alarm, blackmail and names calling by the Hon. Minister and his co-travellers, is nothing but tissues of lies from the pit of hell and same should not be given any modicum of attention.

Affirming that the action of the Keyamo tendency in the Delta APC was not new, he said:

“It should be recalled that a few months ago, the Hon. Minister and his illegal council of leaders employed this same ungentlemanly and ungodly tactics to deceive the Party at the National level into taking a position that nearly crumbled the Party’s membership revalidation and registration exercise in Delta State! Unfortunately for them, the outcome (crumbling of the Party) they  wished for never came to pass.

“For the sake of emphasis, the Party wants to state that the forms for the forthcoming Congress are in possession of the State Chairman, Prophet Jones Ode Erue. That is, as at today, members of the Party who are interested in contesting for Party offices should feel free to visit the State Secretariat of the Party for collection of forms, provided they have evidence of payments of money to the appropriate Party’s account supplied by the National Secretariat.”
