Gunmen Abduct Popular Nightclub Owner
Unknown gunmen believed to be kidnappers have abducted a popular nightclub owner, Tari Ajanami.
It was gathered that the popular nightclub owner was kidnapped by the gunmen around 6pm on Wednesday at his building project site along Otiotio Road in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Ajanami, an indigene of Ayamasa town in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa, is the owner of the popular nightclub, known as club 64.

The nightclub is located at the Baybridge area of the state capital.
The popular nightclub owner also works as a cash officer with the Wema Bank.
It was, however, learnt that Ajanami was at his building site to pay workers when the assailants whisked him away to an unknown destination on Wednesday evening.
Speaking, some eyewitnesses said the abduction of the popular nightclub owner may be connected to the lavish manner he celebrated his birthday recently, while others argued that Ajanami may have been abducted by the gunmen for a ransom demand.
The incident was confirmed by the Bayelsa State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, noting that police operatives have been alerted and are on the trail of the abductors.
“The incident happened on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at about 2100 hours, when three armed men kidnapped one Oyintari Ajanani ‘m ‘ 43 years at Otiotio street in Yenagoa,” the police spokesperson said.
