BREAKING: Protest Ongoing At FUTA
Students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State, are currently protesting on the death of one of them who reportedly had an accident on Monday evening.
The protesting students, who blocked the Akure–Ilesa Expressway, alleged that the FUTA security guards did not open the gate for them to take the victim to the hospital after the accident, which led to the victim’s death.

The protesting FUTA students further alleged that the victim would have survived if he had been allowed to be taken to the hospital.
The protest led to a serious gridlock on the busy Akure–Ilesa Expressway.
The latest development was confirmed by FUTA Head of Media and Protocols, Mr. Adengbenro Adebanjo.
