He said that the party has quality men and women in all the nooks and crannies of the state who have the capacity to deliver the governoship candidate.

Prince Igwedibia however solicited the support of Maduka campaign organisation to actualize the project of Accord taking over Anambra State.

In his own speech, the Accord governorship candidate, Dr Maduka flanked by his deputy, Mr Ken Obi and other stakeholders revealed that he joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State three years ago when he decided to run for the guber election.

He said that he left his former party because of the way the PDP conducted her guber primary of June 26.

Dr Maduka expressed optimism that many people in other political parties would cast their votes for him on the ticket of Accord in the November 6 election because he has actually contributed significantly in the development of Anambra State.

Maduka, the Accord guber candidate identified social welfare, security, job creation, women empowerment, trade and investment as the major sectors he would address in his early days as the governor of Anambra State.

He also hoped to address the issue of medical tourism and make Anambra State a tourist medical center as many quality medical practitioners who have gone outside the country for greener pastures would be encouraged to return home.
