Nollywood Mum As Annie Idibia Snubs Lynda Clems’ Snake Bite

Nigeria’s Nollywood industry has kept mum about the attack on star actress, Annie Idibia and wife of star musician Tu Face by fellow actress and producer, Lynda Clems. The attack is believed to have arisen from an undisclosed beef between the two actresses over Idibia’s new movie series, “Nkoyo”.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that social media was thrown in a flurry two days ago after Lynda Clems dubbed Annie Idibia a snake.

Lynda Clems had taken to her Instagram page to write “Women supporting evil my ass! Annie Idibia! You are a snake! A very real one”.

She also slammed the Nollywood Industry and Nigeria as a whole  in her post on her Instagram status as she wrote “It’s safe to say Nollywood is a good place for any criminal to retire and invest in…Fakest Industry, I regret every coin I put into film in the name of chasing my passion! I’ve never made any capital I invested back on none of my movies. Not even 50% of it…”

“People can just freely and casually use your intellectual property without an iota fear or concern cos the system doesn’t work. Or because they feel they are too popular to be called out since their ignorant fans will willingly attack you. It’s extremely easy for a popular person to commit murder or any crime at all and get away with it in Nigeria, you know why? Cos some of y’all motherfuckers are ignorant and gullible! You will consider fame over facts, and that’s exactly why Nigeria is the way it is..SMH. Makes you realize Nigeria will never get better”

Nollywood stakeholders and others expecting Annie Idibia to respond were disappointed as she kept her cool and pointedly snubbed the missile directed at her by Lynda Clems.

Instead of hitting back at Lynda Clems, she rather appreciated her fans who are viewing the Nkoyo series.

Writing under her Instagram handle, @annieidibia1 she said: “Just wanna say a big thank you to every single person who clicked the link in my bio to watch NKOYO. I no go lie I feel una loveeeee ooo Nkoyo not conna go anywhere jors crick d ringgg in my bio! Mbok welcome to my “AREAHOOD…”

Her comment section also buzzed up with well wishes from fans and followers and no mention was made about Lynda Clems in the comment section.
