Suspected Burglar Burnt To Death In Delta

An angry mob burnt a robbery suspect to death in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.

It was learnt that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, August 14, after the suspect was allegedly caught while trying to rob a house in the vicinity.

It was said that the suspect had successfully burgled other homes before running out of luck while breaking into another house.

The burglar was pursued to a spot along the Cinema area in popular Okumagba Avenue, where he was drenched with petrol and burnt to death. 

Policemen from the B Division who got a hint of the incident arrived the area to halt any breakdown of law and order.
