The Lagos State government has announced commencement of mass recruitment into public health sector.

Dr. Ademuyiwa Eniayewun, the Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Health Service Commission (LSHSC), announced the development in a statement on Monday.

The recruitment is targeted at clinical workers.

The clinical workers will fill existing vacancies and address dearth of manpower in all public secondary health facilities in the state.

According to Eniayewun, the recruitment will ensure that residents get optimal health care whenever they access government hospitals for medical services.
