The embattled national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has responded to the court order suspending him from office and at the same time fingered Governor Nyesom Wike in the ensuing development.

In a statement issued on his behalf by his media aide, Ike Abonyi, Secondus said his media office was inundated with enquiries following what he said following a press statement issued by Governor Wike’s media aides on the court order.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG, however, obtained the original court order before the said statement.

While vowing that he was not shy of attending to court summons, Secondus in his reaction said:
“Media office of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has been inundated with calls from media houses on a press statement  sent to newsrooms by one Kelvin Ebiri, Special Assisatant Media to the Rivers state Governor, Bar Nysom Wike announcing that “Court Restrains Secondus from Parading as National Chairman, Member of PDP”.

In its reaction, the media office said:  “If Secondus  and the party are taken to court they will defend themselves.

“PDP and Secondus are not afraid of court, this party is a child of history, owned by Nigerians, bigger than any individual or group including desperadoes.”

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the court order had asked Secondus not to parade himself as national chairman or even as a member of the PDP.
