Nigerians have been reacting after two of the most formidable political rivals of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visited him in London, United Kingdom.

The visit of Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State followed visits by other prominent Nigerians including President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former APC national legal adviser, Muiz Banire  and others to the APC leader in London.

While no public reason has been given for the visits to the national leader, the visits have been trailed by allegations of the ill-health of the APC chieftain. However, the assertion of ill-health is one that has been roundly rebutted by Tinubu’s spokesman, Tunde Rahman.

The latest visit by the two governors has triggered reactions from the public as to the visits to the former Lagos State governor in his London abode.

While some of the reactions have been very sympathetic of the national leader with supporters wishing him speedy recovery, others have been mostly aggressive with Nigerians questioning while such a high profile leader would go to seek medical treatment abroad despite having promised that the government he enthroned would provide Nigerians with the best of health, education and other infrastructure.

Some other Nigerians have also been rather cynical in their reactions with some wondering while Tinubu should have won the same pair of shoes when receiving some of the visitors.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG has confirmed that similar looking pairs of shoes were worn during the visits of Muiz Banire, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the two governors on Wednesday.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG gathered some of the social media reactions.

We’ve provided good roads in Nigeria but you travel through Air, why?

All this trip are at the expense of the state. Rubbish and solidarity. I don’t know if Tinubu gave birth that all of them are running to London to greet him.

Eniola Stephen Oluwafemi

John Oghenefejiro Egbo

Ogoh Michael

I pray for his recovery but my advice to him and everyone is that in any situation we find ourselves we should know that there is a lesson God want us to learn from it. Nothing we bring to this world and nothing we will take back. Vanity upon vanity all is vanity.

Wisdom Nwalozie

If you like dress him with a Super Eagle’s jessy, I doubt if he has the muscles to combat with the issues of Good governance, equitable distribution power/resources, insecurities of here and there and above all, the one Nigerian wahala, not forgetting the issues of Nigerian dying economy.

I ask, can this Jagaban of thier time and our time, a youthful elderly man handle these issues raised above?

God bless Nigeria

Taiwo Oyetunde

All these people should stop lying to the public, Tinubu he’s not fit, can’t you observe side-by-side support if not, he can stand alone. No more energy to stand.

Anthony Azomz

Tinubu is looking pale and sick ? of only this guys will truly come to understand that this world is not our home. They will strife to do the right thing. So, that posterity will judge them right ?

Ojah Adem

Tinubu seem to have been given UK citizenship. If not, what is he still doing there when he is hale and hearty?

Niyass Baliqs

Sunday Omar

This man Tinubu is very sick, he looks pale and the two governors “take style” supported him both sides from using his walking stick else he will fall. Let the truth be told, anyone can be sick. Never hide your sickness and die in silence. No pretence at all!

Ayie Malik

Why the body support on this man? Let him stand alone, this how Buhari own started.

Nneka Odilichukwu

Divine Elumeze
