Reactions As Omokri ‘Exposes’ Loophole In Programme For Repentant Boko Haram Fighters

The Muhammadu Buhari administration’s programme for supposedly repentant Boko Haram terrorists has deepened into more controversy following observations that the repentant terroris have they have not been able to provide actionable intelligence on some of the hostages held by their group.

“If these Boko Haram militants Buhari is releasing and rewarding are truly repentant, how come they have not told us the location where Leah Sharibu, the Chibok Girls, and other abductees are kept? What exactly is their act of repentance? Where is their contrition,” Reno Omokri, who served as a presidential aide in the Goodluck Jonathan administration said.

His poser follows commentaries by several other observers that the repentant terrorists have neither brought actionable intelligence nor surrendered weapons to show evidence of their surrender.
