Guard Your NPFL Spot Jealously, Adepoju Advises Shooting Stars

Former Super Eagles star, Mutiu Adepoju has advised the newly promoted Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan (3SC) not to lose focus as they make a return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Shooting Stars gained promotion after trouncing Ekiti United FC 6 -0, in the final of the NNL Super Eight play-offs, to emerge as winners of the Group B conference.

Adepoju, a former Manager of the Club said, “It is commendable what they have achieved with their hard work and dedication, the whole team and backroom staff deserved this victory, but I must say, hard work requires more hard work.

“If they worked double hard, now they have to work four times harder, as it is, they have to maintain their winning ways to make a statement with their return.

“The NPFL is at the stage for teams to shine and showcase their dexterity and I believe the team earned it, they should do everything humanly possible to guard their spot jealously, once the new NPFL season starts,” Adepoju said.
