NPFL Gets New Sponsor, as Bet9ja, LMC Ink Multi-year Deal

The Nigerian Professional Football League has added a sponsor to its portfolio, after Nigerian betting and gaming giants Bet9ja signed a multi-year deal with the League Management Company, LMC.

The partnership deal was confirmed in a statement released on the official website of the NPFL.

The deal sees Bet9ja become the official Sponsor of the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, under the Betting and gaming category, and will commence ahead of the 2021-22 NPFL season.

In addition, Bet9Ja will have the right to associate with the NPFL, the Participating Clubs and will benefit from branding placements across all NPFL match venues, events, programs and digital channels. Bet9ja will also be featured in content across NPFL match broadcast and NPFL.TV channel, among other exciting deliverables.

In a statement released after the confirmation of the deal, the betting giants expressed delight, and looked forward to delivering excellent value for its stakeholders

The statement reads: We are delighted to partner with the NPFL, which is evidently progressing and increasingly becoming more influential and popular, especially with the opportunities presented by the creation of the NPFL.TV and the ever- growing competitive nature of the matches of the NPFL.
