Linda Ikeji @ 41: Age Is A Number

Linda Ifeoma Ikeji, a blogger, writer and entrepreneur started writing at an early age having been born and raised in a catholic family from Nkwerre, Imo State on September 19, 1980.

Linda Ikeji started writing at the age of 10 before finishing secondary school in 1997.  At the age  of 18, she gained admission into  the University of Lagos, where she studied English language and graduated in 2004.

To assist her family and support herself through school, she had part-time jobs as a waitress, model and writer.

She started blogging as a hobby in 2006, at that time, the internet was not common in Nigeria which made her to use cybercafé to post her contents.

Linde Ikeji became an active blogger  in 2007 using the sub-domain lindaikeji.blogspot.com but  later obtained her domain www.lindaikejisblog.com.

 She also has an online TV network which she created in 2016 which airs a variety of pogrammes ranging from talk shows, reality shows TV series to movies.

 Ikeji also opened a music platform known as LindaIkeji Music which was launched the same 2016, but it became dormant three months after the Launch.

She launched a social networking platform named Linda Ikeji Social on the domain name LindaIkejiSocial.com.

Ikeji also runs a non-profit project themed “I’d rather be self-made; No thanks”. In her interview with Hip TV some time ago,  she revealed that through the project, she assists young girls aged 16–25 who have great business ideas and are willing to venture into entrepreneurship.

As Ikeji turns 41 years old today, age for Linda Ikeji is just a number, the quest  to  create more impact in social media and entrepreneurship is unrelenting.
