@kingogie6969: We hope there is no foul play in his death. He exposed a lot about the killings in #Nigeria and those behind it. RIP

@bolajilateefok1: This is extremely sad, & it shouldn’t be now when his people need him the most. He has left an undying legacy.

@SavvyRinu: Rest In Peace sir

@ENIBOY: Many times when i needed a sound opposition voice to react to govt policy or statements, I would call either Obadiah Mailafia, Yinka Odumakin or Junaid Mohammed. All of them have died this year.

@EjioforBar: The sad news of the sudden demise of Dr Mailafia hit me with a great shock.I could not believe it until I made calls to close contacts who confirmed it true. Hmmmm, what is life but fleeting moment? Today we’re here, tomorrow we’re no more.

@DoctorEmto: Obadiah Mailafia is dead. He died at the National hospital, Abuja…Me: Just like that? What’s the cause of death please!!!

@FS_Yusuf_: An independent autopsy should be done on Dr. Mailafia Obadiah.

@AriyoAristotle: The death of Obadiah Mailafia is quite devastating and painful. Very sad. Rest in valour, the Titan of the minorities. We have lost a courageous man.

@pataki_ro: As we mourn the death of Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, let us remember his warnings. May his soul rest in peace

@seunonigbinde: The loss of Obadiah Mailafia is a really tough one on the civic space. May the Lord grant strength to his loved ones. My condolences to people of Middle Belt and to Nigerians at large.

@SKefason: Many of us young people from Southern Kaduna drew strength and courage from Dr Obadiah Mailafia, now he is gone forever. In the space of one week I lost a supportive mother in Dr @HauwaShekarau and now Dr Mailafia. Who is next???? God please heal my heart
