Fani-Kayode Recommended For Nollywood Role After Homecoming Video
Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was on Tuesday being recommended for a role in a Nollywood after a video of his homecoming to Ile-Ife, Osun State following his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC surfaced online.
The homecoming after his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP came in the wake of taunts that he lacks political capital at home having never won an election or played a significant political role in his Ile-Ife base.
Apparently in a move to debunk the insinuations of lack of political relevance at home, Fani-Kayode returned home and was seen in the video stepping down from an SUV and being welcomed by about 15 women.
Fani-Kayode posted the video of the homecoming on twitter.
GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the post came in the wake of similar posts in which Fani-Kayode posted invitations to dinner by his brother and friend, Isa Pantami, the minister of communications and digital economy.
He said:

One of the many reasons why the elite will never let poverty leave Nigerians. Just imagine! If my wife is among these women, she’d just pack her bags at the gate and leave for good.

Gideon @Gideon72569100
This is the reason why the government wants the masses to remain in poverty so that can sing praises to them when given peanuts This why we are here today no progress, praising someone you took ur property and give you a token as if he is helping you SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!!!
Femi David @_Ba_MO
Lol. A bad staged play. Go and learn from Nollywood stars. Nigerians are not that gullible. As for those actors being used, all I see is poverty at work. They would probably be dashed 5k which I doubt. End of play. You never spend up to 1wk for APC,you don dey act like them. Tor
