One of the big games of the weekend, European champions Chelsea welcome title rivals, and reigning champions, Man City to the Etihad on Matchday 6, with three points separating both teams on the Premier League table

Chelsea currently sits atop the PL table courtesy of an away goal at Anfield, with 13 points from five games, while Man City sits in fifth with ten points after dropping points in the 0-0 Southampton in Matchday 5.

It’s still early days, but Chelsea looks to have laid down the marker, winning four in five matches, scoring twelve, and conceding just one goal this season. City have been a bit wobbly, losing and drawing a game each in five this season.

The capital outfit have won each of their last three games against the Citizens, including a 1-0 victory in last season’s Champions League final, although the last Premier League meeting between the two teams at Stamford Bridge ended in a 3-1 success for the visitors back in January.

Chelsea will be confident hosting Man City at Stamford Bridge, as the London club has a very good recent record against Pep’s side, winning their last three encounters, most recently, May’s Champions League final which the Blues emerged triumphantly.

Both teams come into the game off the back of mid-week Carabao Cup triumphs, which saw starters rested with Saturday’s cracker in mind

Chelsea: Eduoard Mendy (50/50), Christian Pulisic (Doubt)

Man City: John Stones, Aymeric Laporte (Ruled out), Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ilkay Gundogan, Rodri (Doubt)
