Shocking Reactions Trail Burning of Joe Igbokwe’s Home

The maxim of being your brother’s keeper appears to have taken flight in the incident over the burning of the Nnewi, Anambra country home of frontline All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain in Lagos State, Mr. Joe Igbokwe.

Igbokwe, the former publicity spokesman of the APC in Lagos State and current Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Drainages reported on Sunday that his Nnewi, Anambra State had been set alight by operatives of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The burning of Igbokwe’s home came the same day that the offices of the Department of State Services, DSS, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC were also burnt down by mysteriously called unknown gunmen.

His immediate reaction that IPOB was responsible for the burning was strongly rebuffed by several twitter users and who mostly are his Igbo kin.

Shockingly given the immense loss, many claimed but without evidence put the blame for the arson on Igbokwe himself, that is despite the lamentations of the APC chieftain that it was a great loss and sacrifice on his part. He particularly lamented the loss of his library.

There were also some who claimed that the palatial mansion was an indication that Igbokwe’s brand of politics was reflective of the profit that the APC chieftain had made from his style of politics.
