Woman Beheads ‘Cheating’ Husband, Nabbed

A 27-year-old woman, Rachel Tetteh has allegedly beheaded her husband, Lartey Daniel, 35 over allegations of cheating on her.

The incident happened last Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Tei Glover, a farming Community near Akyem Bosuso in the Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region, Ghana.

Media sources revealed that the couple had a misunderstanding over allegations that the husband was cheating and following a row that the wife had trailed Daniel while he was on the way to the farm.

She had allegedly pushed him to the ground and taken the cutlass from him and beheaded him leaving the headless body on the ground.

The Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, while confirming the incident to newsmen said that the incident which happened early in the morning was reported to the police which immediately sent detectives to the scene of the incident where the headless body of Daniel was discovered.

DSP Tetteh revealed that the deceased was found lifeless with his head severed in a pool of blood along a footpath to the farm.

According to him, the Police detectives took inventories of the crime scene and examined the body.

He further disclosed that the body was retrieved and deposited at Akyem Tafo Government Hospital Morgue pending an autopsy.

The wife, who was the primary suspect in the beheading of her husband over the allegation of cheating was arrested and the cutlass used in committing the crime also recovered.
