Arsenal continued their impressive run of form on Saturday when the team triumphed in their away fixture with Leicester by 2-0. The early Saturday kick-off fully returned the smile to Arsenal supporters as the team which was not too long ago in relegation waters climbed five places to the fifth position.

The Arsenal victory at Leicester came with an impressive display in the first twenty minutes when chaos also reigned supreme in the Leicester side who conceded the two goals in that period.

The first goal came from Gabriel in the fifth minute and it came with the second corner kick for the visitors. Gabriel came in between Jonny Evans and James Vardy to flick in the ball with his head to crown a dominant display for the visitors that commenced from the blast of the whistle.

The second goal in the 18th minute came after Alexandre Lacazette appeared to have taken position to shoot within the Leicester box but the ball was taken away from him by Jonny Evans. However, the intervention was not enough as the ball appeared to stroll towards Emile Smith Rowe who fired for a second goal.

Leicester appeared to recover and missed many chances but were stopped by the young Arsenal goalkeeper, Ramsdale.

The home team though with more of the possession in the second half were luckless to convert their efforts to goal as Ramsdale appeared determined not to allow the ball into his net.

The defeat means that Arsenal who had the worst form of run in its history at the beginning of the session have now not lost any of their last six league games.

For Leicester, the opportunity to achieve three successive victories since the onset of the session was lost. Even more, Leicester would be worried by the fact that the team have not been able to keep a clean slate since the beginning of the session.
