News filtered in about the arrest of billionaire businessman and socialite Obi Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana on Monday night by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on charges of money laundering and tax fraud.

The news caused an uproar on social media with Obi Cubana trending with over 21,000 tweets on Tuesday morning. Users took to the medium to slam the anti-graft agency for going after a businessman with legitimate enterprises while corrupt politicians remain free from the hands of the law.
