A video has surfaced of old women in a polling station in Anambra State rejecting N5,000 cash disbursements reportedly being shared by a young man to them for the purpose of voting for the APC.

The women were heard in the video saying that they would not vote for APC on the basis that the party was dealing harshly with them.

“We will not vote for APC, APC is dealing harshly with us, APC is not good for us” some of the women were heard saying, while some said that the party is not good.

Another person in the video was heard trying to report the man who was distributing the money to the people.

The man being reported in a retort said that it was his money that he was distributing.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the Anambra State governorship election held on Saturday amid heavy security with Senator Andy Uba, APC, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, APGA and Valentine Ozigbo, PDP as the major candidates.

The election was conducted amidst reports of vote buying. However, the ongoing viral video of the young man distributing N5,000 was perhaps the most notorious report of vote buying to have come to fore.

Remarkably, the distribution of money was done within sight of policemen who did nothing.

The APC is yet to react to the video of its agents distributing the money to the women.
