President Muhammadu Buhari has joined friends and family of the late Engr Tony Onyeagwu, the deceased managing director of Patdoh Engineering Nigeria Limited.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the late Tony Onyeagwu died on November 5 2021 at the age of 47.

The president expressed his feelings in a condolence message issued by his media aide, Malam Garba Shehu, on Thursday in Abuja.

The president remarked that in his rather short but remarkable life, the late Onyeagwu had built a name and achieved fame for himself through sheer determination and tenacity.

He urged the family he left including his brother, Ebenezer Onyeagwu, Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank, and his boss, Jim Ovia to preserve the memory and legacies of the deceased.

Among those who are mourning the late Tony Onyeagwu was Ms. Patricia Ovia who said:

It is just like I am still dreaming, and I cannot even believe my baby brother Tony has gone to be with his creator. What a world just just 3 weeks ago we were together at my in-law burial in Agbor dancing I never knew that was the last day I will see my baby brother.

What a kind hearted brother he was always wanting to help. Well God has created him and God has taken him who are we to question him, he has finished his race and fought a good fight. May his gentle soul rest in peace, and may God give us his family a big heart to bear the loss.

I never thought you would leave so soon. It’s so shocking and sad. I am grateful to God I knew you. Thank you for being there at all times, thank you for always listening and thank you for everything. It’s hard to say goodbye but God knows best.

Forever in our hearts…

My heart bled from the shocking news of your passing. I’m sad that I never got the chance to meet you but you made a lasting impression on me. The present car I’m driving was from you and it will forever remind me of you.

The few conversations I had with you proved that you had a beautiful heart.

May you rest peacefully in God’s kingdom and I pray that God gives your family the strength to bear this great loss. Rest well sir.
