Fani-Kayode Mocked Over Re-arrest By EFCC

Following the news of the re-arrest of former Aviation minister and All Progressives Congress, APC, Chieftain Femi Fani-Kayode on Tuesday afternoon, some social media users have taken to their platform to react to the development.

Fani-Kayode was walking out of the courtroom following the adjournment of his forgery trial, only to be approached by an EFCC investigator.

He was subsequently arrested and moved into custody. This arrest is coming a week after he was earlier quizzed, a development the former minister said was a friendly chat as he denied he was arrested.

He also said that his defection to the APC does not make him be above the law.

Reacting to the news, some Nigerians trolled Fani-Kayode, sarcastically referring to his earlier denial of being arrested by the EFCC, while others mockingly referred to his self-styled bridge builder title.
