Dust Over Ownership Of Dowen School As Kate Henshaw, Ubi Franklin Fight

Nigeria’s entertainment industry was at the weekend roiling over allegations that some of the leading celebrities were keeping quiet over the death of Sylvester Oromoni at Dowen College because of their relationship with the owner of the school.

Meanwhile, the identity of the owner of the school has remained a matter of controversy following different insinuations that it is owned by a top female Nollywood celebrity. Others have claimed that the school is owned by a bank owner.

Whatever, the issue of the silence of some Nollywood stars brought veteran actress Kate Henshaw into a public spat with music label owner, Ubi Franklin.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the controversy was stirred after Ubi Franklin alleged in a post on Friday that many Nollywood stars were keeping quiet over the issue to protect the owner of the school who is their colleague. Kate Henshaw was among many Nollywood stars who were tagged by Ubi Franklin in his post.

Kate Henshaw had in reaction vide a video message on Instagram dismissed those calling her out saying that she speaks on what she wants to speak on.

Ubi Franklin had sought to make a clarification that he did not refer to Kate Henshaw but to friends of the owner of Dowen College who are bigtime celebrities.

Kate Henshaw was, however, not mollified as she dismissed the explanation offered by Ubi Franklin vowing not to mention his name on her page.

She also asked him to unfollow her saying that she had not even bothered to follow him.

In her latest post on her Instagram page, Kate Henshaw wrote:

“Just look at that wanna be, you think you deserve a mention on my page??? Go sort your life out first mumu. SA to ya were… What do I need your respect for? Put me on your page but you no reach to be on mine…What do I need anything from you for? You reach? Getaaat If I answer you again ehnnn my name is not mine!!! While you are at it, unfollow sharply cos I ain’t even following you.

Meanwhile the identity of the owner of Dowen School remains a mystery.
