Dubai-Based Nigerian Hailed, Bombed, After Returning Money

A Nigerian taxi driver based in Dubai, identified as Abraham Airaodion, has been honoured for his honesty after he returned 100k Dhs, about N12million, a rider forgot in his car.

According to Instablog, it’s unclear when the incident occurred but Airaodion, who works with Sharjah Taxi Cooperation, was honoured by the organization on Monday, December 13, 2021.

In reaction to the story, some users praised him for his honesty, while some shaded him for doing the right thing, suggesting they might have kept the money.

Other social media users familiar with Dubai insinuated that his honour might not have pushed him to return the money, but the fact that he knew he was going to be traced, due to the high surveillance system in the city.
