A young man got the shock of his life when he saw his own obituary posted by a loan app he borrowed from and defaulted

The customer, Chinedu Azuwuike said he missed his repayment date by 5 days, only for him to stumble on his obituary online from the loan app.

According to the obituary, Chinedu died on January 4, 2022, the date of the loan repayment, and will be buried later in the month.

Following the obituary post, Chinedu has vowed not to repay his loan

“If I pay them, let this obituary be real,” the debtor swore as he called out the loan app.

Following his vow not pay some social media users have advised him to pay, as it is his obligation, while some others were unhappy by the conduct of the loan house.

Here are some reactions gathered by GreenWhiteGreen

Chinwe: What is CBNs’ stand on the way these loan houses go about their recovery? Seen text messages they send out in respect of default or delay. We are not aware when loan was signed for and collected, when there is a default, text messages are sent even with threats. CBN has to look into this. And urgently.

God Is Alive: Oga go pay ur debt

Blessing Ujunwa: That’s bad nah, why declaring someone dead while the person is still alive just because he did not meet up with the agreement.

Paschal Anayo: Please, pay them before it becomes reality

MR47: This is so unprofessional of the loan company. How can you wish your customer death?

Chef Chef: Na so, Oga abeg go and pay jor. When u borrowing the money, u were humble filling form. Na to pay as u promised na problem. You want to spoil their business ni? You shld be arrested.

Anonymous: Bros, calm down. This is simply an avenue for you to make it this year. Get a crazy lawyer and sue their ass for a billion naira. They will plead and sort you out. Name the loan app please. Very simple.
