Nnamdi Kanu: Supporters, Security Operatives Clash In Court

Members of security operatives at the Federal High Court in Abuja clashed with supporters of Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday.

It qas observed that the supporters of the embattled IPOB leader kept on chanting, “Holy Holy Holy, Nnamdi Kanu is another saviour”.

The leader of the proscribed group, the Indigenous People of Biafra, is currently being arraigned at the Federal High Court over some amended charges levelled against him by the Federal Government.

This is as the lead counsel for the IPOB leader, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, on Tuesday, unveiled Mike Ozekhome (SAN) as the leader of the defence counsel for Kanu, whose trial resumed today before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Some journalists who arrived at the court to cover the proceedings were also barred from accessing the court premises.
