Binta Nyako has ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to allow Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to change his clothes and exercise in detention.

Justice Nyako gave the order during the resumption of the trial of Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday in Abuja

She said, “I don’t want to see him in these clothes again. This one is almost off-white. Also, make sure that you allow him to exercise,”.

In reaction to the Judge Nyako’s order, some social media users couldn’t believe Nnamdi Kanu has been using the same clothes from his arrest in June. Others lamented the continuous adjournment of his court cases.

Here are some reactions gathered by GreenWhiteGreen

@houseofbimosh They should at least allow him a change of clothes really and let the court do their job

@iamrealebere Gathering all the charges against him yet to prove him guilty /innocent becomes a problem, keep adjourning his matter everyday it does not make sense ?‍♀️

@rahzcarter Kanu isn’t leaving detention until 2023 it’s the sad truth . This case will be adjourned each sitting while more charges are added
