‘Boastful’ Davido Under Fire Over Twitter Rant

Superstar musician Davido has come under social media fire following his rant on Twitter concerning his Cousin, Dele Adeleke who is running alongside his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke for the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.

Posting on his official Twitter handle (@Davido) The 30BG leader said,”Wonderful! Me I finished uni with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming “intellectual”.

“Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of FAKES! @deleadeleke001

In reaction to the post by Davido, Twitter users criticised him for calling out a family member publicly, saying the issues could have been thrashed internally.

@nwogwugwud I took out time to look up Dele’s Instagram page and his interview with Seun okin of channels tv. Man is sound and answered questions thrown at him with maturity and a few with figures, he seems to know what it takes to lead.
