Nigeria vs Tunisia: What I Discussed With Buhari – Eguavoen

Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles will defeat Tunisia, in the round of sixteen match on Sunday evening. 

Eguavoen  made this known while responding to President Muhammadu Buhari during a video conference with the Super Eagles.

He promised President Buhari that the Super Eagles won’t disappoint the country.

Nigeria clashes with the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia at 8pm in the ongoing African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon.

During the call, Buhari charged the Super Eagles to keep flying and keep making the country proud.

In response, Eguavoen said: “On behalf of the players and the technical crew, I want to say thank you very much sir.

“The group stage has passed, and your speaking to us is a morale booster. Thank you for your support, Mr President. We are so privileged, and want to promise that you should just relax, we’ll come out victorious. We won’t let the nation down.”
