Bella Shmurda: Thank God I Dropped Out Of School

Akinbiyi Ahmed popularly known as Bella Shmurda has disclosed he dropped out of the Lagos State University (LASU) in pursuit of his music career.

The 24-year-old in a post on Twitter said he does not regret the decision as he thank Poco lee who he claimed advised him on the decision.

Bella made the comments while celebrating 550 million streams on music charts.

Bella said he would have been battling with carryovers in school if had had not taken the decision to dropout.

Bella wrote, “Thank God I was stubborn and I never got to pass those exams then. Big thanks to Pocolee for telling me to do that vision2020 viral video, shoutout to Olamide for his listening ears and open hands for upcoming acts.”

“I now worth over half a billion streams (550millions streams to be precise).

Recall that Bella went viral after the release of his debut single ‘Vision 2020’ and later with the remix version featuring YBNL boss,Olamide.

Bella has recorded several hit songs like Cash App featuring Zlatan among others.

Bella Shmurda also got nominated for the Headies Award for the next rated artiste in 2020.
