Under Pressure Mercy Aigbe Cracks, Says She Is Happy To Be Second Wife

The criticisms have finally gotten to celebrated actress and movie director, Mercy Aigbe after she was accused of stealing a husband as she has debunked the insinuations, saying that she is happy to be a second wife.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that since she unveiled her new husband, Kazim Adeoti popularly known as Adekaz that she became the butt of public angst as she was accused of marrying her husband’s friend.

The allegation was fired after her former husband, Lanre Gentry released a picture showing him and Mercy Aigbe with Adeoti and his now estranged wife years ago. The picture was taken at the time Gentry was still married to Mercy Aigbe when they attended Adeoti’s birthday party.

The picture flamed suggestions that Adeoti and Gentry were friends and that the couple were family friends.

Mercy Aigbe has since come out to debunk the insinuation saying that they were never friends and that she never stole her friend’s husband.

 GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that as the issue boiled at the beginning of the week that the actress had feigned lack of concern to public opinion on the issue as she serially released pictures of her and her new husband in various poses.

However, it seems as if the criticisms reached her, especially as they touched on curses on her daughter who some of her critics prayed would suffer the fate of the first Mrs. Adeoti.

According to TVC’s Your View anchor, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Mercy Aigbe called her on Wednesday night, January 26, 2022 to complain about the narrative that she stole a husband saying that she is happy to be a second wife to Adeoti who is a Muslim.

Quoting her, Afolabi-Brown said:

“She called me that we were saying that how can she go and marry her husband’s friend and that that was exactly not what happened.

“Her current husband who is a marketer in the industry had invited her to a birthday party and that she went along with her ex-husband at the time and that was where they took pictures with other industry actors and that he was never her ex husband’s friend.

“Secondly, she told me that the man is a Muslim and he is entitled to more than one wife and that he had issues with the first wife and that he is now marrying her as a second wife. That she has accepted to be the second wife and that doesn’t she deserve to be happy?

“She was not happy that people were going to her DM and pressing her kids and that this has nothing to do with her children and that she is a second wife and she is happy about it,” Mercy Aigbe was quoted as saying.
