Husband Snatching Saga: Under Attack, Mercy Aigbe Locks Comments Section On Instagram

Popular Nollywood Actress Mercy Aigbe has bowed to pressure and locked the comment section on her Instagram account following blistering reactions to her new marriage.

Mercy Aigbe’s latest move is coming hours after her husband’s first wife Funsho, called the Nollywood actress a liar and debunked as lies alleged by Mercy and her new husband Kazim Adeoti in a recent interview.

Recall that in the interview which was published on Friday, Mercy Aigbe’s new husband had revealed that he used to be business partners with the Nollywood actress in what he described as a platonic relationship.

Mercy Aigbe on her part said that she married her husband Kazim Adeoti out of love and not money as people have erroneously believed.

She also revealed that she had no issues with being his second wife as Kazim whom she fondly calls ‘D Owner’ is a Muslim and entitled to more than one wife.

Mercy also sounded a note of warning to critics. She told trolls to mind their business and allow her focus on her marriage.

Reacting to the interview granted by the lovebirds on Friday, Kazim’s first wife Funsho revealed that she introduced Mercy to her husband as a friend only to find out later that Mercy was in a relationship with her husband.

This was contrary to claims made by Mercy Aigbe that she wasn’t friends with the first wife.

However, Instagram users rallied round the first wife Funsho while laying insults on Mercy Aigbe.

In a desperate attempt to cut off the attacks, Mercy Aigbe turned off comments on her comment section, only granting friends access to comment on her page.
