Young Female Doctor Killed In Train Attack Was To Leave Nigeria On Friday

Outrage was boiling over on social media on Tuesday morning as it emerged that a young female medical doctor killed by bandits in the bandits’ attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train was to relocate from Nigeria this Friday.

Dr. Chinelo, a staff of St. Gerard’s Hospital Kaduna was shot in the stomach and had tweeted that she had been hit and called for prayers but rather drawn savage social media attacks from political partisans.

Some medical doctors and other activists were also pained that her tweet that she was hit by bullets inside the train was scorned and made a matter of mockery by some government partisans on social media.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG had reported that more than 900 passengers were hit when terrorists along the Abuja – Kaduna highway attacked the Abuja – Kaduna train late in the night of Monday.

Dr Chinelo had tweeted:

The tweet received several disparaging comments from some partisans who thought she was faking her situation.

Reacting to the death, Lady S @Stephadamu posted that the doctor who had hopes of relocating from Nigeria had been killed in the train attack.

Dr Chinelo was making an honest living, she was working at St Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, she wanted more for herself and processed her papers to leave this hell-hole. She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???  

GreenWhiteGreen GWG had reported that just like Dr Chinelo killed in the train attack, that a medical doctor who was set to leave Nigeria on December 20, 2021 was killed earlier in the morning of that that as he prepared to go to the airport.
