Mr Macaroni Condemns Looting Of Noodles In Burning Truck

Nigerian skit maker, Debo Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni, has taken to his Instagram handle to react to a video where residents were caught looting cartons of noodles from a burning truck.

Recall that, a video clip recently went online of a truck conveying cartons of noodles went up in flames after a ghastly accident in Omotosho, along Lagos-Benin expressway in Ondo state.

In a clip recorded by a traveler, the residents were seen carting away the noodles in cartons while the truck burnt.

Reacting to the trending video, Mr Macaroni fumed at the action of the residents, describing it as ‘wickedness and selfishness’. He said that he knows there is hunger in the country but stated that that was not enough reason to steal.

Macaroni, condemning the looting of the noodles, wrote:

“Seeing people suffer breaks my heart. understand that there is hunger in the land. But is poverty an excuse for looting and stealing? Are we saying we should encourage stealing from those who have more than us? Because if it is that, you also have more than some people.”
