Late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s pastor, Dr Paul Enenche has finally spoken on the circumstances that led to her death saying that he got to know of the abuses only after she died.

Eneche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis Gospel Church, Abuja in an Instagram post said that he also learnt of how Peter Nwachukwu openly slapped his wife at the studio during a recording session in the presence of others.

Dr Paul Eneche who is a medical doctor said that the late Osinachi and her husband came two and a half months ago to complain of a chest infection and that he did his best as her pastor to get her medical help until she died.

Dr Enenche called names of several consultants in some of Abuja’s leading hospitals he referred the couple to for treatment.

Noting that he only learnt of the series of abuses after the passing of the melodious singer, Eneche said when he asked Osinachi’s twin sister, her son, and even church members who knew about the physical abuse, that he was told that the deceased always begged to cover up the husband begging that he should not be exposed to church leaders believing that God will ultimately change him.

Noting that the church has a zero tolerance for such actions, Pastor Enenche offered prayers for those who are frustrated with the church over the Osinachi incident and prayed for healing.

Pastor Enenche said that as a church they have zero degree tolerance for domestic abuse and wife battering of any sort.

“The church is not your place for transfer of aggression. We are willing to help you if you have so much bitterness and so much distraction in your life and you don’t know where to vent it. We can help you. We want to let you know we love you and Jesus loves you. It is well with you’ he said.
