Fans Remember Singer Dagrin 12 Years After Death

Fans of Popular Nigerian singer and rapper Oladapo Olaonipekun, popularly known as Dagrin have paid tribute to the rapper 12 years after his death.

Some of his most popular songs include, ‘Pon Pon Pon’, ‘Kondo’ and ‘If I Die’

Recall that the rapper Dagrin died at age 25 in a car accident in Mushin, Lagos State.

The movie, Ghetto Dreamz, which is based on his life, was released in April 2011.

Fans of the singer Dagrin on Friday took to various social media platforms to pay tributes to the singer.

Meanwhile, Nollywood Actress Kemi Afolabi on Friday said she has chosen to prioritise her peace over other things, including her illness.

The ailing actress said this in an Instagram post on while using the hashtag #warriorKemiAfolabi.

“I choose to prioritise my peace amongst other things I might be going through for now. #warriorKEMIAFOLABI,” she wrote.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Kemi revealed that she was diagnosed with lupus and her doctor said she has only five years to live.

Speaking on the illness, the 43-year-old said: “I have lupus. It’s not curable. You just have to take medications for the rest of your life. At a point I was exhausted after spending so much, I said I will stop and just wait for death to come ….but I brazed up for my daughter and have to continue spending the N1.2million on the medication doze weekly to survive.”
