‘English Is A Hurdle’, Actor Gideon Okeke Advocates Use Of Local Languages
Popular Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke, has said Nigeria would have been better off if students were taught in their local languages other than English language.
Gideon made the statement on his Instastory adding that English is a hurdle that we needed to cross.
“If we had learned sine, cosine, physics, etc in our mother tongues… We would have probably been on the moon by now. English is a hurdle.” He wrote.
